KRITBI launches START biotech contest
Consideration of projects participating in START 2013 federal competition in the category of Biotechnology took place in a videoconference format at Krasnoyarsk Regional Innovation and Technology Business Incubator (KRITBI). The contest organizer is the Fund for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology.
An Advisory Council meeting, geographically located in Barnaul, conducted online consideration of 20 projects presented from different cities of Russia - Vladivostok, Yakutsk, Magadan, Khabarovsk, Kemerovo, Novokuznetsk and Krasnoyarka.
Krasnoyarsk Territory presented five projects to defend, two of them belonged to KRITBI residents. Among them is the AptaMir project developing an express test system for early recognition of human intestinal infections and cancer. The second project is developed by Nanoconsultant Company and deals with obtaining natural extract from earth apples to use in the food and processing industry.
