A social network from Rusnano to be presented in Krasnoyarsk

The representatives of Startbase project will visit Krasnoyarsk on October 16-18 to establish a system of online support for innovation progress. Startbase is a part of Rusnano’s infrastructure.

This support system will include three components connected to each other: the knowledge base which will contain information about participants’ innovative designs and solutions; a communication platform based on social networking; e-commerce systems.

Startbase is a unique social network, - the representative of the Ministry of Investment and Innovation of Krasnoyarsk Territory Igor Raevich said. – There is a similar network in the U.S. Silicon Valley. Innovators use it for direct communication when presenting their projects. According to Raevich, the network has just begun its development, but Rusnano expects that it will cover all of the small innovative enterprises and become the core innovation network in the Russian Federation.

Startbase’s experts will hold a session for the representatives of small innovation business on October 16-17 in Krasnoyarsk Regional Innovation and Technology Business Incubator (KRITBI).

They will break people's stereotypes about the business for two or three days and help them to make the right business model of their innovative projects, - Raevich added. The expert session participants will be KRITBI residents and applicants for membership in Krasnoyarsk business incubator.

The representatives of Startbase will lecture on October, 18 at Siberian Federal University to tell about the benefits and opportunities of the new project.
