The Komi Republic involved in the Business Angels Week The events within the first Russian Business Angels Week are held on April 26-27, in the Komi Republic. As the Minister of Economic Development of the Komi Republic Anton Friedman noted, the week aims to demonstrate the features and attractiveness of the regional innovation activities to a wide range of potential entrepreneurs and investors and thus to involve the most active people in the modernization of Russian economy and its territories.

The minister also stressed that it will give additional impetus to the development of Russian market of venture capital investments at early stage by combining and coordinating the efforts of its members, public associations of entrepreneurs, public authorities and development institutions.

The master classes on the topic Innovative development and venture capital investment are held within the Week in Syktyvkar on the basis of Komi republic Academy of Public Administration and Management. Russian experts in the field of innovations are involved in conducting master classes: the NP National Association of Business Angels Executive Director Igor Panteleyev (Moscow) and an expert of the National Association of Business Angels Dyshko Boris (Moscow).

The First Russian Business Angels Week started on April 23, 2012. This is a series of coordinated by time, geography, and content activities of discussion, educational, informational, and investment measures aimed at the development of Russian market of venture capital investments in early stage.
