The president of RSPP A.N. Shokhin met with the heads of venture firms

June, 19 the President of Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Alexander Shokhin met with the heads of international venture capital companies –the Russian economy innovation process participants.

The meeting was attended by the head of Global Venture Alliance Magomed Musaev, Chairman of the Board of Directors and founder of Global Catalyst Partners company Kamran Elahian, Managing Director and co-founder of Global Catalyst Partners Koji Osawa, Venture Partner of Global Venture Alliance Murad Sofizade.

Participants discussed the issues of innovation in Russia, the possible ways of integration of Russian fast-growing companies in the global innovation community, as well as the transfer of training from Silicon Valley to Russia.

The meeting was held on the eve of Plug and Play technological center opening in Moscow that is to take place in June, 25 according to the agreement signed by Plug and Play, the Government of Moscow and GVA Sapital. The new technology platform will help innovative companies to share their experience and promote high-tech products on the Russian market.

During the talks, RSPP President supported the initiative of GVA and Plug and Play to create a Plug and Play technology center in Moscow and expressed confidence that the new opportunities for dialogue between the innovation processes participants, students and innovative products consumers will have a positive impact on the business climate and investment opportunities in Russia.
