Innovative companies of Tatarstan received support from TIDA

Tatarstan Investment Development Agency announces the results of the first competitive selection program to support entrepreneurship. Subsidies for the development of innovative activities were received by 220 companies that applied for the competitive selection.

Subsidies were given according to three programs to support entrepreneurship: Leasing Grant, Innovation and technological modernization and Social Business. A total of 944 applications were filed.

The program that received the most of the applications was Social Business - there were 646 bids according to the electronic system of filing applications for participation in the competition. During the consideration, expert councils selected 114 business projects.

The Agency considered 173 applications under Leasing grant program. It was decided to give subsidies to 75 applicants, and 33 applicants were recommended to the consideration of the Interdepartmental Commission for the provision of subsidies to small and medium enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan to partially refund the costs associated with payments under equipment leasing (LEASING- GRANT).

There were 118 bids according to the Innovation and technological modernization program, but during the bids opening procedure it was figured out that only 105 applications were filed. The Agency separated applications on a single parameter in this program: the time from the date of applicant companies’ registration. 58 applications were filed by companies incorporated less than a year ago. They claimed for grants in the amount of 500K RUR. And 24 companies will receive the money according to the Commission's decision.

Big applicant companies of the Innovation and technological modernization program pretended for a subsidy of 5 M RUR. Only seven companies out of 47 will be awarded.
