Skolkovo Industrial park admitted another 51 resident companies

Fifty one companies became the residents of Skolkovo on August 16, 2012, the fund says. There were some companies that are already familiar to the Fund and told their first success stories, as well as newcomers that amazed everybody with their extraordinary technologies.

The event took place at Technopark Skolkovo, which is situated in Ural business center (the territory of Business School Skolkovo). 12 of the new resident companies will become the members of biomedical technologies cluster, 13 will join the energy cluster, 7 companies will join the cluster of nuclear technologies, 16 will become the residents of IT cluster and 3 companies will join the space cluster Skolkovo.

The ceremony of admission was led by the vice-president Alexander Chernov. Some of the new members are familiar to Skolkovo as companies that have long been cooperating with the Fund.

One of these new but familiar to Fund residents is Vizerra company, which is engaged in three-dimensional visualization of complex 3D objects for construction and development. The technology allows you to create, in particular, interactive 3D-models of buildings and areas through the transformation of large volumes of static data in interactive three-dimensional images. The user can move freely within this model, change the time (day or night), inspect the objects in different modes and interact with them to get the information about them.



The Director of Development of Technopark Skolkovo Maxim Kiselev, speaking at the event said that the industrial park, which is still a startup in fact, has managed to create a service environment for the growth, development and commercialization of its residents. Corporate services such as accounting and HR Center are already functioning in the industrial park, according to Maxim Kiselev. The participants of Skolkovo will also have the access to research facilities, in particular, to the center of collective use (CCU).



Also, as the Director of Development of Technopark said, the participants can use the so-called Development services, including various forms of training. Among them is pitch-training for interaction with investors. Skills-trainings of the industrial park (for business skills development) include more detailed competencies training such as accounting, for example.



According to Alexander Chernov, all residents of Skolkovo will have the opportunity to move to the industrial park by 2014. As the Vice-President of the Foundation stressed the residents who will be working in Technopark, especially those who move in first, will receive benefits in the form of a substantial advertising and informational support. In addition, they will have the opportunity to have an informal meeting with investors.

Alexander Chernov also pointed out that residents of Skolkovo that are in the Technopark have more opportunities to have informal meetings to share experience and expertise.
