A discussion in Moscow on who will become new world leaders

A round table on Innovations - who will win (and lose) the race for the status of the new world leaders will take place on August 28, 2012 at 15:00 in the press center of the RISA RIA Novosti. This event will be the first in a series of round tables Open Innovations: Open discussions, which will be held on the eve of the Moscow International Forum of innovative development Open Innovation (October, 31 - November, 03 2012).

Among the topics to be discussed at the round table are:

- Do the innovation define the role and place of the state in the geopolitical map of the world and whether they are the key to the competitiveness of the country?
- The current economic situation in Europe: a cause or a consequence of lost technological war?
- Institutional approaches to the innovation of the West and the East are significantly different, but both effective. What is Russia model of innovative development?

The round table will be attended by:

- Oleg Fomichev, the Deputy Minister of Economic Development;
- Igor Agamirzyan, the CEO, Chairman of the Board of JSC RVC;
- Yuri Udaltsov, the Director of Innovation Development, Head of the Analytical Division of JSC RUSNANO;
- Stanislav Naumov, the vice president of SKOLKOVO;
- Alexander Galitsky, the managing partner of Almaz Capital Partners.
