The potential of Nizhny Novgorod technoparks to be used in defense industry

According to the director of NP Association of high-tech technology parks Andrew Shpilenko, the Russian government has decided to use the potential of technoparks in Nizhny Novgorod region in the interests of the defense industry.

Valery Shantsev, the head of the region, held a retreat on the siting of Sberbank regional center for clients’ operations support in the industrial park, the website of regional government says.

According to the governor Valery Shantsev, this center in Volga Federal District is unique in terms of introducing innovative technologies for processing banking information. The construction of the facility is held in record time, and we plan to open this center on November 4, in the National Unity Day, - Valery Shantsev said.

Andrew Shpilenko stressed that Nizhny Novgorod region is considered as one of Russian leaders in the development of the IT-industry. There are two actively developing industrial parks in the region - Sarov and Ankudinovka , - Andrey Shpilenko said.
