Russia?s first and the world?s second production unit to make eco-friendly petrochemical products has started operation in the Nizhny Novgorod region, in the mid-Volga area, oil and gas industry portal Gaznews.ru reports. The new project has reportedly launched in the region?s Uren District on the premises of Orgkhim, a Russian petrochemical company. The unit is said to have a production capacity of 50,000 tons of ready-to-use oil extracts a year. Most of those will be exported, the source emphasized.
