Likehack content aggregator receives 4.5 M RUR

Likehack.com is a content aggregator based on user activity in social networks. It makes it possible to get rid of information overload and saves time. At the moment Likehack.com is integrated with Facebook and Twitter. The project is aimed at English-speaking audience, now its share among all users is about 70%. The service maintains the accounts of 320 000 people.
The service’s competitors are different personal aggregators of information, stowing services and some search engines, news providers. The main advantages of the project are simplicity, high level of personalization and context, recommendation system based on collaborative filtering and deep integration with the most frequently visited user’s online services.
Our goal is to help people to cope with the increasing volume of information they have to find and process - Dmitry Yanin, the head of the project, says. – The users of the service need a lot of information and work with large volumes of information. These are active social networks’ visitors who often using their social buttons on external resources to evaluate information and to convey it to their circle of contacts.
The attracted investment will be directed to the development and promotion of the product. The project managers plan the integration with such services as Gmail, Delicious, LinkedIn and Tumblr, as well as development and launch of Likehack mobile application.
Our participation in the Ingria business incubator has played a special role in the development of the project, - Dmitry Yanin says. – There is a unique atmosphere, many talented startups with their projects are concentrated here. It is not only interesting, but also very useful to communicate and exchange ideas with them.
Likehack is a portfolio project of Zombolab start-up accelerator, whose co-founder is also Michael Kechinov, his web studio is engaged in project’s software development. Michael Kechinov’s studio specializes in providing external development departments for startups.
