RVC to create high-tech market development tools

Russian Venture Company JSC (RVC) is switching over to the creation of tools for the high-tech market development, RVC CEO Igor Agamirzyan told reporters.

Our task for the coming period is to focus primarily on specialized financial and non-financial tools for the market development. It is impractical to simply increase the number of venture capital funds today, since this market got big private money, - Agamirzyan said at Tomsk Innovation Forum.

As noted by Agamirzyan, in the last two years there has been an annual increase in the amount of available money in venture capital funds: We took the fourth place in terms of absolute numbers in Europe, and the first place in terms of venture investment growth.

Innovus Energy of Innovation Development Forum dedicated to innovation in the resource sector took place in Tomsk, May 22-23, 2013.
