RVC SF invests in a cloud service to distribute and monetize video

Sotal-Cloud LLC in collaboration with venture partner Pelana LLC attracted investments from SOTAL-Interactive CJSC and RVC Seed Fund. The total investment will amount to 31M RUR. Investments will be used to launch a universal platform for service and content providers to share paid video content.

SOTAL-Cloud Platform will give video content owners and producers the access to audience, providing all technological support for video distribution - processing, storage, protection and delivery to a variety of mobile and stationary devices with ability to monetize. The access to the platform is provided through PaaS model.

According to Alexey Teleshev, the Director of RVC Seed Fund, SOTAL-Cloud is a good combination of idea, market potential and enthusiastic team of skilled technicians and managers.

The project should be implemented in one and a half years. After that, the project is planned to attract more investment to scale its model in Russia and abroad.
