Winners of “Minute of glory” on INNOPROM have been decided

Winners of “Minute of glory” on INNOPROM have been decidedWinners of “Minute of glory”, a regional contest of innovation projects among students and post-graduates, which has been held within the limits of INNOPROM exhibition, received grants on education in business school of Yale University.

According to contest`s organizers, there have been filed 53 applications from students and post-graduates. In June the commission selected 10 finalists – 5 projects competed in nomination “The best technology innovation”, the other 5 projects competed in nomination “The best social innovation”. Thus, in contest`s final appeared the following projects: device for noncontact liquid recovery for instant diagnosis systems, paramembrane technology for milk whey treatment, powder protective node and power stations technical equipment covering, secure roentgen-ray tube and gas-turbine engine refrigerating system. In the second nomination competitive were the regional social network, geo-social navigator, regular labour force incubator, international youth creative workshop and project of ethnic conflicts preventative measures in enterprises and organizations.

Finally the jury named the best idea of a post-graduate of Mountain University Egor Tiunov, which should save gas-turbine engines from interior zone overheating, decrease fire hazards level, and save rooms where engines are situated, from dangerous gas accumulation. At the moment the graduate is in search of investor for his prototype system producing and its approbation on one of the enterprises of the region. He hopes that the project will be financed by the government, because, according to him, the government is interested in gas delivery expansion on global market.

The best social innovation became the project of ethnic conflicts preventative measures by Anastasiya Stepanova, a magister of Ural State Pedagogical University. She has developed test, which allows to diagnosis arising or existing conflict, and prevention techniques of inter-ethnic misunderstanding. The experiment included participants among workers of various nationalities and managers.
