Ural University helps innovative ideas to become successful businessesUral Federal University continues accepting applications for Minute of tehnoslavy contest, which aims to stimulate entrepreneurship and innovation among young people, to find the most promising innovative ideas for the advancement of economic and social development. The competition has received about 20 applications.

Accepting of applications for the Minute of tehnoslavy competition, which is co-organized by Ural Federal University within the International exhibition Innoprom, will continue till July, 2.

According to the pro-rector for innovation of UrFU Sergei Kortov, the developments which make life better are being actively accepted in Ural Federal University: We are looking for people with ideas that can then be turned into innovative projects, and we transform those innovative projects into innovative business within our infrastructure.

A few days remain prior to the qualifying round. Contestants are excited in hope to receive a ticket to training in business school at Yale University - this is the main prize of the contest. Only two lucky projects will win the prize under the terms of the competition.

A computer program for foreign language learning in 3D format, which allows eliminating language barrier by communicating with virtual characters, will be represented by students from UrFU at the interactive show of Minute of tehnoslavy. Our program aims to help people to learn foreign languages. It will help people to learn foreign languages wherever they like, having a computer on hand. You will not only be able to consolidate the theoretical knowledge with the help of a virtual teacher at this simulator with 3D-glasses, but also to practice it - says one of the ideologists of the project Pauline Zalihovskaya, 4th year student of HSEM.

We would remind that the projects for the contest must be sent by July, 2 to the following e-mail address: rasskazchikova@gov66.ru. Students, graduate students and young scientists of Sverdlovsk region are welcome to participate.

The official announcement of the results will be held in July, 12 and the presentation of projects and awarding ceremony will take place in July, 14 at the EC Ekaterinburg-Expo.
