The fifty best innovative ideas for the RT competition launched

VIII annual republican competition The fifty best innovative ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan started, aiming to stimulate innovation activities and attract the young to the research.

The organizers of the contest are the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan jointly with the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan and the federal Fund for the Promotion of Small Enterprises in Science and Technology.

The projects significant to the Republic of Tatarstan and corresponding to the current level of science and technology development are allowed to participate. In addition, attention is drawn to the possibility of commercialization of the project.

The contest will run from April 1 to December 30 in several stages: until October 15 accepting, registration and preliminary assessment of projects, then the examination and selection of submitted projects, in December - approving the results and awarding the winners.

According to the results of competition, depending on the category prizes personalized awards and scholarships in the amount of 5000 to 50 000 RUR are awarded. The nominations are: Perspective, Innovation in Education, Innovations Start, Nanoimpulse, The projects of the Russian Association of Innovative Regions, Cooperation, Best Invention of the Year, Social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The main novelty of the year is that only the projects having the documents proving implementation or an intention to introduce the developments to one of the RT enterprises will be accepted, except for the nominations of Perspective and Innovation in Education.

This will help remove one of the major barriers that appear in the process of creating innovations, and its subsequent commercialization.
