UrFU and Center for Investment and Innovation NAVI to develop innovations

Ural Federal University (UrFU) and the Center for Investment and Innovation NAVI that is a member of the Renova group of companies have agreed to jointly participate in the development and implementation of innovative projects, especially in energy and energy efficiency.

A necessary condition for the development of innovations is a demand of the real business - the innovation pro-rector of UrFU Sergei Kortov emphasizes. - Cooperation with the NAVI is aimed at the formation of such a demand, based on a program of innovation development of the Renova Group of companies.

In turn, the head of NAVI investment and innovation Yaroslav Kuznetsov expressed confidence that cooperation with the Ural Federal University will further the effective implementation of the developed CINC Renova vertically integrated model of interaction between business and science - the formation of a professional community that is competent to generate ideas for modernization as well as for innovation.

The agreement is also expected to create a portfolio of innovative projects in energy and energy efficiency with attracting necessary budgetary and extra budgetary resources, to create small innovative companies and design teams.
