In a newly announced interregional project to be completed on the premises of the Ulyanovsk Nanotech Center in the mid-Volga area, a distributed platform for multifunctional thin-film coating should be created, the website of the Dubna special economic zone reported earlier this month. One of the key project participants is the new Dubna Nanotech Center, an R&D and production center to open in Dubna 180km north of Moscow this coming fall. Other participants include Intermolecule, a private company, and the Center for Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials of the Republic of Mordovia in the mid-Volga area.
