Winner of the Russian Code Cup 2013 became a programmer Petr Mitrichev from MIn September 23, 2013, in Moscow, in the office of the company Mail.Ru Group, has been conducted the final of the largest in Russian championship on sports programming Russian Code Cup 2013. 50 best programmers – winners of online-stages of the Olympiad, have competed for the win.

Petr Mitrichev, graduate of the Moscow State University and winner of RCC 2011, managed during the shortest time to solve 5 the most difficult IT-Tasks. The second place has taken the student of the Saint-Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics Gennady Korotkevich, and the third place has taken the graduate of the Kharkov Polytechnic Institute Dmitry Dzhulgakov. The winner of the first place received the main prize of RCC 2013 in amount of $10K, for the second place they gave $5K, and for the third - $3K. Director general and founder of the company Mail.Ru Group Dmitry Grishin has congratulated them.

Aspecial prize from representatives of mass media “brevity is the sister of t.” for the most short code for task solution received Pavel Kunyavsky. The Minister of communications and mass media Nikolay Nikiforov awarded a special prize to Dmitry Zhukov for the fastest solution, and thanked Mail.Ru Group for organization of all-Russia events, in which many talented programmers from different regions of our country take place. This is worthy id respect and inspires hope, that in future we will be successful in the IT-sphere”, - noted the Minister.

Inventor of the first in the world robot with web-interface, professor of Informatics School of The University of California, Berkeley, Ken Goldberg, has spoken for the RCC guests, and told about the future of robotics. Founder of programming methodology, developer of the structural method for system analysis, and a member of the Computer Hall of Fame Edvard Jorton has shared with forecasts about development of computer technologies.

Also, guests of the final have seen interactive installations with robots participation, ashow of digital0illusionists Simon Pierro and Marco Tempest, who create magic reality with the help od newest digital technologies. Leader of the Olympiad is Anton Komolov.

In the third Olympiad on sports programming have participated 3,500 programmers from all over the country, and also from USA and European countries. Tasks for the Championship have jointly been developed by workers of Mail.Ru Group and experts from the National Investigation University for Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics. The Russian Code Cup id the largest in Russia annual open Olympiad on sports programming, which is held since 2011. Contests have been conducted in three stages: qualification rounds and selection round – online, and in order to take part in the final programmers come to Moscow.
