Runa invested $2M in the mobile bank “Rocketbank”

The bank service “Rocketbank”, which uses for its work homonymous application, attracted $2M of investments from the venture Fund Runa Capital. The “Rocketbank” plans to direct the attracted funds at service development, widening of users database and expansion to regions. This is not the first investment of Runa Capital in similar service. In February this year the Fund invested $8M in development of the mobile service for immediate electronic payments uBank.

Peculiarity of the “Rocketbank” is in the fact that all bank operations of the client go via smartphone, this is why user can not only immediately get information about its bank account, but also conveniently trace money funds expenses. The service moves the mobile banking at the absolutely new level: thus, for example, in order to transfer money to the other user, it is enough just to choose a receiver in the contact book of iPhone.

The “Rocketbank” differs from all bank applications, which exist in the market. It is possible to make issue of the platinum debit card Visa directly in iOS application, and then with its help to fully control own finances. Subscriber fee for using the service is 290 rubles per month, herewith you do not have to pay for additional functions as sms-notification about operations. The card recharge, cash withdrawal and money transfer are made free.

Official partner of the “Rocketbank” is commercial bank “Intercommerz”, and the service itself makes only customer assistance and attraction of new users. The CB “Intercommerz” enters the deposit insurance system, this is why the client can be sure for safety of funds. According to the CEO of the “Rocketbank” Viktor Lysenko, at the moment the service team fully focuses on end customer.

Besides this, the service offers a special bonus system – when paying with the card of “Rocketbank”, the buyer gets 1,5% of its cost in miles. Clients’ support, discounts guidance, expenses manager and many other functions are also available in the application for iPhone.
