Four new residents of Russia?s network of special economic zones (SEZ) are expected to invest a combined $33m in their projects in IT, medicine, and electrical engineering, portal Rusnanonet.ru reported. The Russian Government reportedly granted the four their SEZ residency status just last Thursday. In the Zelenograd SEZ just outside Moscow, Ankad is now developing software and hardware solutions to protect data against unauthorized access, other computer network security systems, user identification solutions, etc. Two other new residents came to Dubna, another SEZ in Moscow region. MLT develops and manufactures medical equipment to prevent and treat cardiovascular diseases, as well as other products to be used in hematology, oncology, cytology, histology, and microbiology. The company is said to be already selling to more than 60 different countries.
