Toytemic Inventions, a Russian company developing robotic toys, has raised funding from T-Nano, a nanotech center, innovation news portal reported. The deal is reportedly paving the way for setting up a new company called Toytemic Production which will focus on making and marketing toy robots. The partners in the transaction have declined to specify the deal?s value. A Toytemic spokesman only said that ?the amount is a lot more than $100,000 and much less than a million.? The stake that T-Nano is getting as a result of the transaction is ?large, but not controlling,? the investee explained. The T-Nano Center was co-established in 2012 by T-Platforms, a Russian high-tech developer, and the government-owned Rusnano Infrafund to support and launch start-ups and offer them technical and consulting services. The Center predominantly invests in projects in the fields of microelectronics, robotics, artificial intelligence, data storage systems, high-capacity computing, and others...
