Foreign funds are interested in Ural pharmcluster projects It was announced during the first-rate foreign investment funds visit to Yekaterinburg that within next 3-4 months Russian Direct Investment Found (RDIF) and its co-investors’ means will come to Sverdlovsk Region. There will be CIC (China), Caisse des Depots (France), Macquaire (Australia), Goldman Sachs (U.S.), Apax (UK), Eton Park, CVCI, Apollo (U.S.) among the first-rate foreign investors. Most probably, the investment will be used in pharmaceutical industry.

Besides Yekaterinburg the delegation also visited Ulyanovsk and Krasnoyarsk. Sverdlovsk Region caught the attention of foreign investors not accidentally: the region is a pilot site of ASI, where the first regional office of the agency was opened and favorable investment climate standard running-in held.

According to Cyril Dmitriev, the GM of RDIF, who together with the Agency for Strategic Initiatives organized a one-day visit to Sverdlovsk Region, foreign investors are ready to invest regional projects.
