Tatarstan President promises maximum support to foreign investors

Speaking at Investment Opportunities in Tatarstan business forum that took place in London, the head of the Republic Rustam Minnikhanov promised to provide maximum assistance and support to foreign investors and companies who will be willing to implement projects in Tatarstan.

Business Forum Investment Opportunities in Tatarstan was organized by CNBC in conjunction with Tatarstan Investment Development Agency. The forum aims at increasing the investment attractiveness of the Republic of Tatarstan in the world, as well as the presentation of investment potential of the region to the international business community.

Tatarstan President noted that the existing innovation infrastructure built in the Republic is a developed network of technoparks with modern infrastructure, (Technopark in high technology - IT-park, technopolis Khimgrad and Technopark Idea), business incubators, leading educational and research institutions. The most widely known was the special economic zone Alabuga, where the resident companies got developed industrial, engineering, customs and transportation infrastructure.

A memorandum of understanding on the implementation of the project to create an international center for trade exhibitions and conferences in the framework of SMART City Kazan project between JSC Tatarstan Development Corporation and Strategic Marketing & Exhibition Company was signed at the end of the business forum Investment Opportunities in Tatarstan.
