VIII Siberian Internet Week to bring together 2500 participants

VIII Siberian Internet Week, one of the largest in the Russian regions and the world's longest event for internet professionals and customers of the Internet market, has opened today in Novosibirsk. The conference, bringing together participants from 35 Russian cities, will last until April 1. The emphasis will be placed on methods to improve the financial feedback from the Internet marketing for business and effective monetization of independent Internet projects and businesses.

Eight conferences will be held within the event lasting two weeks:

• The Internet Marketing
• PR and social media,
• The Internet commerce and payment systems
• Management of online projects and startups
• Management of Internet agency
• Web Design
• Search advancement
• A conference and meeting of CodeFest web developers.

In addition, personnel exchange, the presentation of Internet projects to the investors and advertising sites to the business audience will take place, as well as master classes and informal activities, which, according to organizers, will be attended by more than 2500 people from 35 cities of Russia will be held. Participants will present over 200 papers.

Now our events have different co-sponsors, different leaders. They are independent conferences, oriented towards a completely different audience. We had been approaching to this during four years and finally reached the result. Now it is an event providing real practical benefit for quite a mass audience, - Alex Ramenskiy, one of the ideologists and organizers, said at the press conference.

The first Siberian Internet Week was held in Novosibirsk in September 2008. Since then, the events are organized regularly in spring and autumn.
