Skolkovo concluded a deal with Korean Technopark Gvandzhou
Technopark Skolkovo got one more partner from Asian innovation market. This time, the cooperation agreement was signed with Korean Technopark Gvandzhou created in 1999 at the time of Korean financial crisis.
Created as an institution to support entrepreneurship, the technology park (with the help of Korean government, local authorities, province Gvandzhou and local university to promote regional economy) went top among the six largest parks in Korea for the period from 2006 to 2011.
An access to the market and technology experience of both countries, as well as establishing of close contacts with local investors to consult on possible participation in government investment programs are among the elements of future co-operation of the technology parks.
In addition, the cooperation presupposes the development of business contacts, joint research in science and technology, joint workshops, seminars, conferences and other public events, as well as the access to laboratories and other resources for scientific research and much more.
The agreement was signed by Maxim Kiselev, the director of Technopark Skolkovo development and Yoo Dong Gug, the President of Gvandzhou Technopark.
