Russian and Chinese technology parks signed a memorandum of cooperationA memorandum of Cooperation has been signed today, by Russia's industrial park Zhigulevskaya Valley, located in Samara region, and China's Tsinghua Science Park (TusPark) at the capital University Tsinghua, reports.

According to ITAR-TASS news agency referring to Deputy Trade Representative of Russia to China Sergey Sizov, the agreement is a new stage in the development of Russian industrial parks. It is very good that the initiative was supported by regional colleagues in TusPark which specializes in the commercialization of scientific and technical developments. In turn, the CEO of Technopark Zhigulevskaya Valley Valery Dunisov noted that Chinese colleagues have a wealth of experience and the Russian side is ready to adopt it. Dunisov explained that the key directions of future resident companies of the technology park are information, space and production technologies, transport and energy efficiency, new materials and chemical products.

The building of Zhigulevskaya Valley began in 2010 and realized under the state program Creation of high technologies parks in the Russian Federation. The Technopark is situated on 26 hectares, close to the AvtoVAZ car factory. From the available space for construction 55.4 thousand square meters are used now, the rest of the territory has been reserved for future development.

The Russian delegation explained that the industrial park, 4 B RUR is allocated the construction of which, will contribute to the development of material-technical base for high-tech organizations of the region, increasing the production of innovative products and improving of the competitiveness of domestic companies. Four thousand jobs will be created at the industrial park. The number of resident companies is 32, including the Chinese Huawei.

According to the chief operating officer of TusPark Lee Chzhitsyanya, the leadership of the Chinese industrial park appreciated the expansion of contacts with Russia in science and technology and appreciated the scientific potential of technology companies of Russia.
