Minsk to conduct an exhibition of startups Startup Day

Startup Day is a special event which will present best start-up business projects to international investors, and will take place within the VII Belarusian Investment Forum on November, 15.

The organizer of the event is State Enterprise National Agency for Investment and Privatization and the Center for Entrepreneurship Support Start-up technologies.

Only 15 start-ups that passed the competitive selection were able to participate in the Startup Day.
Among the contenders to win the Startup Day are a mobile service Say-n-ride to search for traveling companions; mobile application Send Look which allows us to be in touch at any point in the world, even when the phone is off; an auction platform Maesens to offer or purchase a meeting with a known or just liked person, and many others from various sectors of the IT-industry.

Any project that takes part in the Startup Day has a chance to win a government grant of 300M BYR. (about $35K) and state support for the implementation of its project.

The participation in the event is free, it is enough to register to see the presentation of projects, to learn what innovations are most interesting to investors and will be supported by the state.
