The head of Mail.Ru Group rewards its employees for received patentsDmitry Grishin, the CEO of Mail.ru Group, called his employees to patent their unique tech developments more actively. The employees can be granted a prize of 60K RUR for each patent.

This measures are taken on the eve of the Mail.Ru Group’s entering the international market, the head of the company’s press service Ksenia Chabanenko says. According to her, most IT companies patent their developments, and Mail.ru should do it as well.

The representatives of Mail.Ru Group said in late 2012 that they were going to enter the international market under the my.com brand, but the exact date was not disclosed. According to Chabanenko, the company is still not ready to give exact date of the international project’s launch.

Mail.Ru Group plans to achieve the performance of Google and Facebook on the number of patents. The company's employees will received a grant of 60K RUR for every registered patent.
