Co-founder of Yandex Ilya Segalovich died

One of the founders of the company Yandex Ilya Segalovich died in the night of Thursday, as it is said in the company`s blog.

“We were friends since school years, shared the same desk during four years. And then established Yandex together. Tonight he died. Everything happened too fast and unexpected”, - said in a message signed by director general of the company Arkady Volozha.

Russian entrepreneur, programmer and a public figure, one of the company`s founders, was born in 1964.

“I do not know whether it is really possible to replace his polyhistory in technologies and clear vision of a product. But he left the whole generation of programmers, the whole school. And his ethic standards targeted a level for all of us”, - added Mr.Volozh.
