Second Conference of funds and portfolio companies of RVC was held

In June, 26 2013 second annual conference of portfolio companies and funds, established with assistance of RVC was held. In 2013 it was decided to invite and participate in a conference regional venture funds of investments in small enterprises in the sphere of research and technology that will encourage creation and co-financing of joints projects.

The program included roundtable discussion with the participation of a representative from The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Russian Federation, devoted to improvement of the activity effectiveness of regional funds and protection of united coordination of venture projects` support.

Igor Agamirzian – CEO, chairman of board of directors of RVC. Participants have heard a speech of RVC CEO Igor Agamirzian and Deputy CEO, Managing Director of RVC Alexander Potapov concerning progress of accompany in 2012, organizational adjustments and prospects for the development in 2013. Besides Aksel' Till'mann, CEO of RVC USA made a presentation of range of services of American office for portfolio companies and funds.

Also within the limits of this event there took place a discussion with a participation of expert in the sphere of venture investment market of international level, who has working experience in Russia – Joyce Ten Holter, attach? on the questions of science and technology of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Embassy.

After the discussions the guests were given a unique possibility to take part in group master-classes and seminars. Within the limits of master-classes models of partner services realization have been demonstrated, and during seminars specialists of RVC and invited guests presented its own vision on the most topical issues about venture sector development (intellectual property protection, project estimation, interaction with investors, etc.).
