New York company Ideeli, a shopping-society only for registered users, known as a site “Flash sales” (offering a possibility to buy luxury brands with great discounts), announced of $12M attraction within the limits of a round, conducted by a range of investors, information about whom is not disclosed.
A list of previous investors include Credit Suisse, Next World Capital, Cue Ball Capital, StarVest Partners, Constellation Growth Capital and Kodiak Venture Partners.
Company`s service offers clothing, accessorize, shoes and jewelry for targeted audience of men, women and children, but such offers are time-limited. It starts to function since 11am and continue during 36 hours or till the full sale of goods. The list of offered for sale brands include Calvin Klein, D&G, French Connection and many others.
The service was founded in 2007 and since then continually attracted funds. Despite the fact that there is no clear vision of such short flash-sales financial model future, the company is now very profitable and continues to widen.
