The company “Cinarra Systems” has got $4,5M from “Almaz Capital” and “Cisco”

The company “Cinarra Systems”, which develops technologies and platform services for operators of wireless access and mobile communication, received $4,5M of investments from the Venture Fund “Almaz Capital”, “Cisco” and a group of private investors; herewith the “Cisco”, being one of the Fund’s investors, invested in the company separately.

Architecture of the company “Cinarra”, developed with consideration of communication operators’ requirements, allows processing significant volumes of information from operators, and get analytical data in real time mode, and this data in future can be monetized with use of the “Cinarra” platform. The “Cinarra” offices are located in the Silicon Valley (California, USA), Kazan (Russia) and Singapore.

The company was founded in 2012 by the expert on Internet-technologies Aleksey Zenin and Russian entrepreneur Aleksander Nikolaev.

“Cinarra” solves fundamental problems in economy of mobile Internet, which distribute to mobile operators and applied platforms, - said Aleksey Zinin. – New investments, attraction of a pioneer in computer networks Jeffrey Baer in the Board of Directors, and also the “Cisco” as a strategic investor, will allow the company attracting required specialists and lead the “Cinarra” to a position of a strategic participant in new economy of mobile Internet”.

Distribution of shares between investors and a share in the capital, transferred to investors, is not disclosed. According to the “Almaz Capital”, the control interest (more than 50%) has been left by founders of “Cinarra”.
