Nanostart AG to invest in small innovative businesses in Russia

Nanostart AG (Germany) will manage a nanotechnology fund in Russia, named Kama Fund First. The aim of the fund is to invest in promising projects and companies in the field of nanotechnology.

Nanostart AG is planning to open an office in Perm Territory. The name of the company has not been disclosed yet. Kama Fund First will be officially launched in 3Q’11.

The size of the fund will total 2B roubles:

• 750M roubles – share of Rusnano;
• 750M roubles – regional government (Perm Territory);
• 500M roubles – the managing company.
