Region's economy modernization and development committee will be set up in Voronezh

A committee for region's economy modernization and development will be set up in Voronezh Region. According to Anatoli Boukreev, the head of economic development department of the region, the main purpose of this committee is to promote stable technological development of economy, improve public administration and priority sectors of the economy modernization programs. The members of government and heads of executive powers of the region, regional Duma deputies, scientific community representatives, managers of industrial enterprises, and the heads of certain areas will take part in the committee.

It is planned that the committee will promote regional projects to federal level commission. Not investment projects but efficient for the region and country engineering solutions will be submitted to the federal committee.

Commission meetings in the first half of this year are to determine the direction and objectives of its future work. In the second half, all meetings will be devoted to work on specific projects.
