Tomsk region to receive more than 188 M RUR for entrepreneurship development

More than 188 M RUR will be allocated from the federal budget for the development of small and medium enterprises in Tomsk region in 2012. Last year, 141.6 M RUR from the federal center were spent on these purposes, according to regional administration.

The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia held a meeting of the competition committee, which selects the subjects of the Russian Federation that apply for grants from the federal budget for the development of small and medium businesses.

According to the examination of applications, Tomsk region scored 73 points. Maximum number - 82 points - scored by Penza region. For comparison, Moscow and Leningrad regions scored 24 points. As a result, the decision to allocate 188 M and 199K RUR to Tomsk Region has been made.

The funds will support both beginners and existing small and medium innovative companies, providing subsidies to local budgets to support the business, Center for cluster development, Center for export support, EuroInfoCorrespondent Center, the development of youth entrepreneurship, as well as several other events.
