108 M RUR to support small and medium enterprises of Astrakhan Region

108 M RUR will be allocated for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises of Astrakhan Region. The decision was taken by results of the last meeting of the regional government, which considered a special topic on long-term target program Development of Small and Medium Enterprises in Astrakhan Region in 2012-2016 years.

During the meeting, members of the government adopted a program on youth entrepreneurship. Implementation of planned activities will be financed by the budget of Astrakhan Region (which amount to 21.6 M RUR) and by the federal budget (87.2 M RUR), which makes 108.8 M RUR in total.

The program aims to support young entrepreneurs involving youth in entrepreneurial activities by informing them about small business development programs, increasing the number of small businesses created by young people, increasing the number of participants in the inter-regional, national and international sites of youth entrepreneurship.

The program is of socio-economic type, so it allows achieving maximum impact for the youth entrepreneurial potential development in Astrakhan Region.
