Skolkovo to co-finance up to 25 projects in the Chelyabinsk region
The Skolkovo Fund and the Government of the Chelyabinsk region in the near future are going to sign a cooperation agreement, resulting in the increase of the South Urals Fund residents number from 3 to 25, including on nuclear technology and metallurgy.
The Skolkovo Fund provides the grants, as well as supports projects under co-financing - in the proportion of 75% to 25% when it comes to the amount of investment to 40 M RUR, and the parity ratio, if the project is estimated at 150 M RUR. The Skolkovo Fund residents have tax preferences for taxes on income and property, as well as one hundred percent refund of customs duty on import of technological equipment.
Now the fund is considering the possibility of cooperation with the Chelyabinsk region on 25 projects, including the development of metallurgical, nuclear and electric transport clusters.
According to Mark Leivikov, the SPP vice-president, it took him six months to file applications to Skolkovo on five start-up-projects supervised by him. The first SPP Vice-President Alexander Fyodorov noted that now Metallurgy in the Chelyabinsk region is one of the most advanced in the innovation industry for and CTRP, with modern production facilities, is ready to share with the Skolkovo innovation center experience in the training of specialists in metallurgy.
The status of the Skolkovo residents have three South Urals companies: Vertical and TRIDIVI from Miass, as well as the company, the part of Mayak from Ozersk.
