Minnikhanov elected as the AIRR Board Chairman

The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov was elected as the AIRR Board Chairman at the latest Association of innovative regions of Russia General Meeting in Moscow.

During the meeting, AIRR members discussed a number of issues related to the work of the association, including appointment to certain positions. Participants of the session unanimously voted for appointing Rustam Minnikhanov the Board chairman. Addressing the AIRR, R. Minnikhanov thanked them for the confidence placed in him and promised to make efforts for the development of innovation in regions and in Russia as a whole.

Also, the AIRR General Meeting members re-elected Sergei Naryshkin as Association Supervisory Board Chairman.

In addition, the Association members were adopted new members: Bashkiria, Lipetsk, Samara and Ulyanovsk Oblasts.
