The winners of Forbes competition for start-ups Forbes sums up its competition for start-ups, in which 10 young entrepreneurs, pre-selected by the jury from 120 applications which were blogging at Internet portal Forbes.ru telling of the life and development of their business for nine months.

We announced the contest for startups a year ago: we were looking for bright projects of different kinds which would be interesting to watch, Forbes.ru report says.

The jury included successful businessmen, investors, bankers and executives of leading consulting companies, considered business achievements of participants and their blogging activity, the popularity of their posts in social networks - the ability to present their ideas to a wide audience and to respond the criticism is important for any startup.

The first place was taken by the project All yours - its founders, Vladimir Toporkov and Valentin Bolotenko invented a business model that allows to control the quality of rural products, making on their delivery to big cities and to scale the business to the whole country. The second place was awarded to the project Life Button - a system of medical alarms: 80% of elderly persons are unable to call for help when fallen on their back, a bracelet with the alarm button solves this problem. Third place - a very fun project, Budist project: strangers, usually of the opposite sex, call those who ordered reveille.

I have a very positive attitude to such competitions - says jury member Ruslan Alikhanov, a partner of McKinsey & Company. - One of the main problems in Russia is a small number of entrepreneurs. And the increase of small business share in GDP is a favorable prospect for any developing economy. I was amazed how few applications were submitted. I would recommend would-be entrepreneurs do not be afraid and to participate in the greatest possible number of competitions.
