SkolTech started the second enrollment of students

Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (SkolTech), which is a key element of the innovation center Skolkovo, began the second competitive selection of students. The winners of 2013 will begin the training in SkolTech on master's program, the press service of the institute reports.

Online applications must be filed on SkolTech website before January 15, 2013. The applicants selected by experts will take part in the final qualifying seminar Selection Weekend in two months.

Those successfully passed the selection will begin training for the Master's program of SkolTech Science and Technology in Biomedicine, Information Technology, Science and technologies in the energy sector.

SkolTech has been established as the first university in the history of Russia which will combine engineering and entrepreneurial education. The basis of SkolTech is research centers of large companies and universities.

SkolTech completed its first competitive selection of students this spring. In the pilot group included 21 people from 14 Russian universities. The new students were trained at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT, USA) in August. They will begin training on the basic program in September.
