Netherlands experience in FabLab networking to be used in Russia

A working group, which includes experts and future heads of the centers who had previously passed the competitive selection, got acquainted with the work of FabLab laboratories in the following cities: Amsterdam, Amersfoort, Arnhem, Utrecht and Enschede, where they studied the methods of working and management.
The program for the creation of a FabLab network in Russia is implemented by the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia (AIRR) and Young innovative Russia (YIR), with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development and Rosmolodezh.
The effective work on the creation of innovation creativity centers is not possible without experienced personnel, so the experience of foreign colleagues, who have found and use the most advanced technological solutions, will be invaluable for Russian experts, - Anna Buchalo said, the head of Russian public organization YIR.
The first regional laboratory of prototyping has already launched in Krasnoyarskiy Kray based on a business incubator. The work on the creation of the Centers is being conducted in a number of Russian regions, including: Tomsk, Irkutsk, Kaluga, Penza region, St. Petersburg; the largest network will be created in Moscow Oblast, Krasnoyarskiy Kray and the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Centers of Innovation creativity are a unique educational platform where anyone will be able to design and simulate a variety of designs with the help of available software and high-tech equipment. Our goal is the maximum involvement of young people in the scientific and technological creativity. - Ekaterina Bulycheva said, the Deputy Executive Director of AIRR.
