Microsoft launches a new global support for entrepreneurs

Microsoft has announced the launch of Russia's new global initiative - Microsoft YouthSpark, which will bring together a wide range of existing and new programs to support young people in their efforts to realize their potential in three key areas: education, employment and entrepreneurship.

We believe that young people can change our world for the better, so our strategic objective is to help the Russian youth in learning, self-realization and creating a successful future. To do this, we combine and develop our social programs which give the young people new opportunities in education, employment and entrepreneurship, - Nikolai Pryanishnikov, the president of Microsoft in Russia said.

Microsoft YouthSpark will include about 25 different programs implemented in Russia, which include specialized training programs, certification and training of students, technology competitions, consulting, technical and online support for young professionals and start-ups. Among such programs are the largest international technology competition for students Imagine Cup, Microsoft Seed Fund, Microsoft Research summer schools and more.

A global online community Microsoft Innovate For Good has been also created within YouthSpark.
