The Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO told Marchmont yesterday that it has developed and successfully tested at Don State Technical University (DSTU) in the Rostov region, in Russia?s South, its Regional Business Catalyst project, initiated by Russian Venture Company (RVC). One of the main goals of a Business Catalyst is to increase the number of projects that are ready for presentation to venture funds? investment committees. The proposed model of a regional Catalyst is believed to be an effective way of selecting the most promising R&D projects and helping them evolve to a level where investors get interested.
