Experts to discuss startup industry trends at Beta WeekBeta Week IT conference will take place on June 22 in Moscow. It will be held in a proprietary format and involve the golden hundred leaders of startup ecosystem: founders of known startups from the USA, Israel and Russia, investors and representatives of leading IT companies.

The aim of the conference is to share experiences and building strong business relationships between foreign and Russian IT entrepreneurs and investors.

The participation in Beta Week was confirmed by 40 startups from Russia, 15 successful startups from Silicon Valley, New York and Israel, 25 business angels and venture funds, as well as leading media representatives.

Beta Week business programme will be devoted to startup trends, startup financing, features of projects in B2C and B2B sectors. In addition, the conference participants will discuss startup accelerators’ activity, in particular, methods used in Y-Combinator.

The participants will be divided into groups of six people: an American entrepreneur, two representatives of Russian startups, an investor, a media representative, and one representative of the corporate segment.

Special attention during the conference will be paid to presentations of Y-Combinator’s alumni companies, one of the world’s best known startup accelerators. Panel discussions will involve Parse founder and YC partner Tikhon Bernstam; Hipmunk founder and YC partner Steve Huffman; the creator of Mafia Wars (Zynga) Roger Dickey; the founder of App sumo, former Facebook and Mint employee Noah Kagan; Social Cam and Justin.tv co-founder, the founder of Exec Justin Kan; YC ambassador and the founder of Reddit Alexis Ohanian; Y-Combinator partner Michael Seibel, as well as the creators of Viber mobile startup Talmon Marco and Igor Magazinik.

A group of speakers from the Russian side will include the co-founder and president of Ostrovok Cyril Makharinsky, the founder and managing partner of Almaz Capital Alexander Galitsky, the director of Intel Capital in Russia and CIS Maksim Krasnyh. The conference will be attended by representatives of venture capital funds Runa Capital and IMI.VC, successful startups GetTaxi, YouDo and Excursiopedia and other companies.

The conference is organized by American company Neuvey and Moscow Youth Multipurpose Centre and supported by Callision and Missionelle companies.
