First day results of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2013A panel meeting of the working group Innovative Development as a Global Priority took place on June 20, 2013 at B20 Summit within the SPIEF and was headed by the Group Chairman, President of the Skolkovo Foundation Viktor Vekselberg. The meeting discussed the group’s recommendations included in the Green Book, which would form the basis of the White Book to be presented to the political leaders of the G20.

A plenary session of B20 Transition to a New Model of Economic Growth – a Priority of B20 in 2013 took place at 11.30.

The participants discussed the need to strengthen cooperation between government agencies and businesses to overcome global difficult economic situation and the transition to sustainable growth in the near future.

On the same date, the Skolkovo Fund signed a Memorandum of Understanding with a Dutch non-profit organization SurfNet.

The document was signed by Edward Crowley, the President of the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, and Erwin Bleumink, the CEO of SurfNet. The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Arkady Dvorkovich and the Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte.

The Skolkovo Fund as represented by I. Bogachev concluded a cooperation agreement with a non-profit foundation to support innovation Web Ready represented by its President I. Kalashnikov.
