Interra-2013 to take place together with the Russian Venture Fair

Novosibirsk International Forum Interra will take place for the fifth time next year. The Russian Venture Fair will be timed to coincide with this event, which will also take place in September, 2013 in Novosibirsk.

This was reported at a meeting of the regional government by the Governor Vasily Yurchenko, who was satisfied with the results of Interra-2012 Forum which brought together more than two thousand participants. However, it is time to prepare for the forum of 2013, the authorities say.

Earlier, Yurchenko said at a meeting with journalists that the forum required about 50M RUR in 2012, adding that he was familiar with the views of some bloggers who considered the event as a carve-up, and also said that the results of the event are very important for the region.

We receive economic benefit from Interra in terms of ideas and developments that become products, create new jobs and so on. It also forms the image of the region within the country and abroad - he said.

The governor also said that with the help of world-class experts the authorities can better understand competitive advantages of the region to attract businesses, and civil society institutions.
