Belgorod region teams up with federal fund to support local innovation

The Belgorod regional government has unveiled plans to support 12 best technology projects developed by scientists of the region?s two leading universities.

The Belgorod regional government in Central Russia is ready to co-fund 12 best technology projects developed by scientists of Belgorod State University and Belgorod Shukhov State Technical University, the region?s two leading higher education hubs, regional portal Belru.rf reports. In addition to about $6,600 from regional coffers, the Russian Fund for Fundamental Research is reportedly expected to provide matching funds.
