An innovative diseases diagnosis project got 100 M RUR

LLC UCS company project devoted to the development and creation of an automated system for early cancer diagnosis (EPR analyzer) pilot unit, got 100 M RUR to start mass apparatus production and further development of a diagnostic laboratories network. Six years investment is provided by the SME Bank (Vnesheconombank Group), Russian Construction Bank CJSC and United Consulting Service CJSC (Moscow UCS CJSC).

The total cost of the innovative diseases diagnosis project realization is 119 M RUR, 19 M RUR invested by the company itself.

The project aims to develop and apply an all-purpose unique method with the help of EPR (electron paramagnetic resonance) - spectroscopic determination of changes in albumin transport properties in blood samples. EPR test is a new clinically proven way, the most important features of which are the possibility to diagnose the presence or absence of cancer, treatment and monitoring of relapse after recovery.

Along with the development of the automated system, the researchers are intended to improve the method that allows determining of diagnosed malignancy localization.
