School and Seminar Founders Bootcamp

School and Seminar Founders Bootcamp will take place from October, 14 to October, 24 2012 in the Dominican Republic.

This is the fourth school Founders Bootcamp, and at this time the program is prepared considering the interests of not only startups, but also of those who want to start investing in startups, or learn how to do it more effectively, minimizing possible risks. The unique method of training with the simultaneous participation of both interested in investing startups and business angels will enable participants to better understand their own interests in the field.

During the workshop, prospective investors will be able to meet each other, to learn the principles of the Association of Business Angels work and probably become business partners in the future. At the same time, the founders of start-ups will find out how and at what stages private investors invest, how risky it is for them, what criteria do they use to select companies and, accordingly, will be able to formulate for themselves: how, when, from whom and under what conditions they are ready to receive investments.

Dominican Republic has not been chosen as the venue of Founders Bootcamp by chance. It is not an easy task to find some time for training having established business. The same thing about having some time to rest, it is extremely difficult. However, being busy does not eliminate the need for specific knowledge and skills for a successful existence in the field of investment, especially in high-risk areas such as start-ups. That's why Caribbean Islands were selected and diving became a supplement to the program. Classes and workshops will be conducted in a specially equipped conference room, and some free time will be provided after lunch which can be spent on diving with other participants of the program, or you can plan a vacation on your own in a great five-star hotel Iberostar Bavaro.
