Rusnano, Russia?s nanotech giant, is considering building outside Bryansk in Central Russia a small metallurgical factory to produce nanostructured rolled steel, Russian news group Interfax reported. Scrap metal will be reportedly used as raw material. The investor is said to project a capacity of 200,000 tons a year for its future facility and has plans to ante up as much as $60m for construction and equipment. It is expected that the prospective factory?s products will be in demand from mechanical engineering and ball-bearing makers, car manufacturers, pipe-making companies, and oil and gas producers...
